Emily is the Head of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Welfare at FC Nations and has been part of the club for three seasons. Her journey into football began when her daughters, Ella and Izzy, started playing for the girls’ team. Before joining FC Nations, Emily spent two years at Shrewsbury Mereside, where she managed her daughters’ team.

Although football wasn’t previously a big part of Emily’s life, supporting her children inspired her to gain the qualifications and knowledge needed to help them enjoy the game. Football has since become a huge part of family life, and the off-season always feels a little too quiet.

Emily’s role is to ensure every player, parent, coach, manager and volunteer feels safe, supported and valued. Whether football-related or personal, she is always there to help create an inclusive environment where everyone in the FC Nations family can thrive.
